Abrams’ “Lost” almost had an entirely different cast

The character Sawyer was originally intended to be an older, dapper, suited-up city hustler from Buffalo, NY. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and subsequently kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the character Sawyer and decided to write Sawyer more as a shady, Southern drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season.

This is a really good show with really good writers. There are a lot of subplots that keep you interested and waiting for next week for more answers to the many growing mysteries surrounding the island where a group of plane crash survivors are shipwrecked. I also like how the writers weave in the backstory of each main character, making them more interesting to the viewer.

It seems to be a hit

There are a lot of mysterious happenings on the island and a lot of drama between the characters in the show. It’s great to have some TV that doesn’t involve CSI, cops, lawyers, or doctors!
