When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she devises a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry. The show deserves a high rating ;but whoever decided to cut the season short by 6 episodes so they could do 2 seasons was a rubbish decision.
I’ll name just a few as examples, My Name Is Earl, Ash VS
Many times the shows haven’t been renewed and have people who enjoy the show been let down? I can’t count on one hand how many shows I thought were amazing; but ended with an unresolved cliffhanger.
Too often these days
Evil Dead and Last Man On Earth ; but there are so many more I could list (even to fill the stupid 600 character requirement). Viewers who invest time in these shows get screwed and that happens too.

This entire story could have been told in a 10 episode season ; but they’re dragging it out to give us 6 more episodes. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
