Story

Star Trek: The Lower Decks follows a support crew serving on the USS Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s least important ships in the year 2380. Ensign Mariner, Boemler, Rutherford, and Tandy must navigate their duties and social lives, often while the ship is rocked by science fiction anomalies. The bridge crew includes Captain Carol Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom, Lieutenant Shacks, and Dr. T. Anna. It is the series’ second animated spin-off after Star Trek: The Animated Series from 1973-74, but it definitely has a more adult tone and humor.
