I am sure that this film was shot with great care and love, BUT, in my opinion, what was missing most of all was BREATHING, which opera singers learn to control their breathing and subdue ours. And I agree with other, less favorable reviews that the first scene was a really bad example of lip syncing, especially because I couldn’t see Miss Jolie breathing. Of course, La Callas lived a glamorous life, but it seemed to me that the trick was more! aimed at the visual effects of this film. This film made me stop watching it until the end, and I regret it.
